Greding Airshow
The 75th anniversary of an Aeroclub - there are not much better reasons for an airshow. Aeroclub Greding celebrated this milestone of his history exactly that way.
The Greding anniversary airshow was held over the weekend of July 03th and 04th. Greding was one of the smaller venues on the display calendar 2010 but manages to attract a stunning program and is a great day out for families and enthusiasts alike.
Beside the possibilty to take a sightseeing flight, the German Army displayed an Bo105 helicopter and spectators enjoyed the days by coffee and cake or could take a seat in a gilder plane.
The airshow itself was dominated by world best aerobatics. No one else than Red Bull Air Race godfather Peter Besenyei showed off his aerobatic capabilities with the Extra 300SR. The real highlight of the show was the demonstration of Gravity9 Aerobatic Team. The new Bavarian team performed a superb formation display on two Extra 300 and one XtremeAir Sbach 300 aircrafts. In spite of the weather trying it's hardest to scunner the day the organisers deserve praise for pulling off a successful airshow.
